One minute you’re doing flips and kicks, the next you’re just unleashing these tendril whirlwinds that throw cars. It’s completely ridiculous and I love every second of it.

The city is bigger, there’s more to do, and you can even make choices that push Peter toward being a hero or a bit of a jerk. It’s not as polished as Web of Shadows, but it’s got this charm to it. It feels like a big, dumb, summer blockbuster in the best way possible. Swinging through the city with the black suit while that dramatic music swells? Chills.

It’s not the best Spider-Man game, but it might be the most fun. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, and because of that, you can just switch your brain off and enjoy the chaos.
