Shin Budokai 5 – As if there's a reason to stop dreaming, Shin Budokai 5 would be the ultimate portable DBZ fighter. Could you imagine it? Every character from Super (yes, even Bergamo), a real tournament mode, and maybe even Xenoverse-style custom fighters. The PSP might squeal for mercy trying to run it, but who cares when you’re throwing Spirit Bombs at 60 FPS?
Realistically, if this game were to be developed, it would need two things: better netplay (because ad-hoc multiplayer has been dead since the early 2000s) and more dramatic finishers. You know the finishes I’m talking about—the “Kamehameha so big it crashes the game” type of finish.
Until Bandai gets the memo, all we can do is replay Shin Budokai 3 and dream about how things could have been. Ugh.
