PES 2024 PPSSPP - Konami's football simulator comes back to life on PSP hardware, and we have a modded ISO file for you that actually updates every team and kit while retaining those lovely PES mechanics we all once played. The gameplay feels considerably more rigid than the arcade style of football sim we are accustomed to these days. You can't just hammer the button and expect through balls to be played perfectly – it actually requires proper timing and vision.

The Master League is surprisingly massive – proper youth development, reasonable transfer logic – it is all here. Players all have individuality too – a creative midfielder actually plays quite differently to an anchor man in front of the defence. The mod comes with optional improvements to the graphics – currently players look nothing like plastic action figures.

Not to mention the performance is terrific even on potato phones, and the file size is tiny compared to what I would consider modern pursuit of a football game. If you're one of those who think a football sim peaked during the PS2 and just wants a modern squad, then this is it!
